I don’t want to make heaven-Angela Nwosu

If heaven is where Pastor Adeboye, Kumuyi, David Oyedepo and all other religious leaders and people will go to after death, then I reject it with every fibre of my being. Heaven will sure be a very boring and unbearable place to be in, full of fáke people and extortionists and heartless people. I want to be where Fela is and would be happy to see Davido, Wizkid, Tekno, etc, join me there.

The thing about me is I don’t ever want to be like you. You don’t believe that you can live the way that I do. Seriously, you act like life’s a recital from the bible and once you reach the end you won’t know where the time goes. I’m living through my flows so please enjoy the show. No Jesus above tells me how to live my life, I do this for me, am not ashamed, I do not hide. I already have a God that turns me on with reckless abandon. He’s the God that I see and believe in and his name is Emeka😘

So Save your prayers for your mothers, I’m doing fine, the last thing on my mind is the afterlife. The time is now, I live in the moment. I only think with logic, so keep your fucking preaching, pity and emotions. I can never be broken even if I’m lost in the ocean, I still won’t give a fuck where I’m supposedly going, ighotago? For real, I don’t want to spend eternity with any of you. Death is the only thing promised to us at birth. Save your ‘may God have mercy on you’ for your sisters that are doing abortions, for your brothers raping kids, for small girls with big God knacking other women’s husbands, for your pastors and your village people 😏

There’s no time to waste once you enter this World, If you ask me, there is no afterlife and when I die, I will be satisfied with who I am and what I leave behind!

BREAKING NEWS : APC Chieftain, Tinubu’s Cousin Isiaka Oyetola Emerges APC Governorship Candidate In Osun

Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola, the Chief of Staff to Governor Of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola, has emerged the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the September 22 governorship election in the south-western state.

Oyetola, who is also the cousin of Bola Tinubu, National Leader of the party, emerged winner of the party’s first-ever direct primary by polling 127, 017 votes to beat Yusuff Lasun, Deputy Speaker of the House of representatives, who recorded 21, 975 votes to place a distant second.

Najeem Salam, Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, occupied third place with 17, 958 votes.

Before the start of Friday’s primary, Moshood Adeoti, Secretary to the Osun State Government, had accused the party of manipulating the exercise, saying a lot of things were done to render it a mere endorsement Oyetola.

“The primary was arranged, skewed and designed to favour Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Otedola, the cousin of the National Leader of our party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” Adeoti’s campaign organisation said in a statement.

He alleged that there was no credible register of members with which a free, fair and transparent direct primary could be conducted, but only a “cooked-up register comprising handpicked persons loyal to the emergence of Oyetola, printed in a firm owned by Oyetola in Lagos

Nigeria Air: You Can’t Deceive Nigerians, PDP Mocks Buhari, FG

July 20, 2018

Press Statement

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has asked President MuhamFB_IMG_1532123164700.jpgmadu Buhari and the Federal Government to perish the thought of trying to use the ‘unveiling’ of a nonexistent national carrier to beguile Nigerians now that election is around the corner, as such ruse cannot yield any dividend.

The party said it is unfortunate that, having run out of fake promises and not having any development project to parade, President Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC) have now resorted to international kite-flying aimed at hoodwinking unsuspecting Nigerians.

Is it not comical that while other nations are unveiling and rolling out real planes, the Buhari administration, in a most hilarious manner, is ‘unveiling’ drawings of an airplane, name, logo and imaginary routes of a nonexistent fleet, as our national carrier, in faraway London?

What President Buhari and his handlers fail to understand is that Nigerians can see through their fraud and lies.

Apart from drawings of airplanes, there are no structures to indicate that a new airline, billed to commence operation in December this year, is being set up; there are no offices, no recruitment of personnel and no form of ground activity anywhere in the country.

Does it not smack of pure scam that less than six months to commence operations, the supposed new airline has not even started the process of licensing, even when it takes a minimum of six months for a new airline to obtain Air Operating License and three months to develop its manuals?

Furthermore, every discerning mind can see through the lies in the announced private sector funding, as the Buhari administration has been unable to list any private investor it has gone into negotiation or signed any form of deal with in the said project.

If the Buhari administration is not on a fantasy trip to beguile Nigerians and pave further ways for its humongous corruption, it should have focused on our existing national carrier structures, in addition to three operating airlines, already taken over by the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria(AMCON).

It is therefore clear that the entire project is a huge scam and that the five percent government funding is a direct ploy by the cabal at the Buhari Presidency to siphon billions of naira, using a phantom project.

PDP Condemns Burning of Dino Melaye’s Constituency Dev. Projects

July 20, 2018

Press Statement

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has condemned in unambiguou

s terms the burning of some classroom projects executed by Senator Dino Melaye by suspected political detractors, describing such action as crude politics.

The PDP said that all fingers point to hoodlums sponsored by the sinking All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi state, which has been threatening the lawmaker since his failed recall bid in April, as well as his declared return to the PDP.

It is indeed reprehensible that the APC, which cannot boast of any development project in the state, could be so vicious to sponsor the destruction of education facilities meant for the benefit of Kogi children, just for political reasons.

The people of Kogi state are not in any way fooled by the statement from the APC-led Kogi state government, wherein it merely condemned the arson without taking any concrete step to produce those behind the dastardly act.

The PDP challenges the Kogi state government and the APC to come clear and tell Nigerians those behind the use of earth moving machines to block the way for Senator Melaye’s convoy on his way to commission the projects on Wednesday.

Also read

Furthermore, the fact that the state government did nothing after Senator Melaye reported of threats to him, by unknown persons, ahead of the commissioning ceremony, thoroughly indicts the government and raises very strong issues of official conspiracy.

Moreover, the attack has further confirmed that Senator Melaye has not been shouting wolf in his reports of series of threats against his person by suspected agents of the APC.

Consequently, the PDP calls on the Inspector General of Police to immediately commence a full-scale investigation into the incident and all reported threats against Senator Dino Melaye.

Finally, the PDP calls on Nigerians and the people of Kogi state to hold the APC responsible should any further harm befall Senator Melaye or any of his family members.

Kwara PDP Write Letters To Uche Secondus-We Will Not Surrender Our Party To Anybody –

Being a Press Statement Issued by the Kwara Strategic Alliance (KSA), on issues affecting our Party, PDP in Kwara state  at the Party’s Secretariat, Ilorin, Kwara State, this day 20/07/2018

KWARA STRATEGIC ALLIANCE: We will not surrender our Party to anybody

Kwara Strategic Alliance is a coalition of PDP youths and youth mobilizers across the sixteen Local Governments of Kwara state, whom have come together to raise our voices against some abnormalities looming in our great party which is capable of absolutely killing the high spirit we’ve used to take the party thus far in Kwara state and in fact, render PDP politically valueless in the face of voters from Kwara state if not swiftly addressed.

It has for some months now been rumoured that the common enemy of Kwarans and the stumbling block in the the developmental strides of Kwara state,  Senator Bukola Saraki-led political dynasty has been romancing with the National leadership of our dear party, People’s Democratic Party (PDP). A romance that was made obvious since the very first day Prince Uche Secondus emerged as the Party’s National Chairman, as made possible by us,  faithful members of the party.

It would not be out of place to remind Prince Uche Secondus that the Senate President has been gripped with political confusion since he was defeated and humiliated in the 2017 Local Government elections, where even in his own ward and polling unit, he was floored. Confronting Saraki with the sad reality that himself and his cohorts has been politically blacklisted by Kwarans and that Kwarans are rejecting him and his political leadership in the state, hence, the rationale behind his desperate bids to destabilize the PDP, a movement seen by Kwarans beyond just political party but a vehicle that will emancipate the people of Kwara state from the shackles of underdevelopment, infrastructural decay, high wired corruption and misgovernance under Saraki’s political leadership.

It should also be recalled that in the wake of 2015 general elections, the same Saraki was one of those saboteurs whose personal interests took out of the PDP and owing to the anarchical system of politics he is known for, which makes him the alpha and omega of the party in Kwara state, he reduced the party to nothing in Kwara state. It took relentless efforts, finances by well meaning party faithfuls, sacrifices and unwavering commitments of members to reawake PDP in Kwara state, which today is admired and pride by Kwarans as the people’s tool to dismantle the political hegemony that has held us aback.

We are  however absolutely disgruntled with the prevailing dispositions and body language of the National Leadership of our great party, PDP towards Saraki and his cohorts and against the interest of her members in Kwara state and in fact, the generality of Kwarans whose hope for political reinvention are hinged on the PDP. Although, up till this moment, we still consider it as rumours, the coming of Saraki to PDP, as none of the party leaders in Kwara state have informed us as party faithful of such.

It was a rude shock receiving the news of the coming of our party’s National Chairman to our state capital, Ilorin to grace the funeral of Kawu Baraje’s mother, without even informing the Kwara state Chairman, or even extend courtesies to the party members in Kwara state. But he was instead recieved by the Saraki cohorts. We consider this an insult on the persons of all party faithful in Kwara state and a flagrant show of disrespect for all of us, including the state Central Working Committee (CWC), who are only active in castigating Saraki but cannot confront the intra party aberrations currently thriving within the PDP.

Prince Secondus and his co-travellers should be reminded that this is not 1999, 2003, 2007 or 2011, from 2015, Nigerians have grew from political neophytes, whose voting pattern is determined by money and deception, to well politically enlightened and conscious people, majority of whom are no more gullible to cajoled to sell their votes or deceived to trust known gluttonous politicians again, hence, the failure on arrival of the Elitist strategy of Prince Uche Secondus-led PDP National Working Committee. Nigerians and ultimately, Kwarans are tired of the political elites whose personal interests robbed of patriotism, what we need is a populist party, where the general interest of all supercedes that of some, opposite of which is Senator Bukola Saraki and cohorts.

For the records, Bukola Saraki have never been loyal to anybody or party except his personal interest in the history of his political sojourn, despite enormously benefiting from the PDP,  he was one of the arrow heads that collided  to destabilize the party in 2013 with the formation of the illegal nPDP, which later merged up forces with the APC. Today, the same man whose membership of APC gave him opportunity to the Senate Presidency and whose political career was saved from extinction in 2015, is today covertly the sponsor of the illegal rAPC trying to destroy a party he pose to belong to. Are these not evidences enough to convince Prince Secondus and the entire PDP leadership that Saraki is only loyal to his personal interest and not that of any party, state or even the nation?

In Nigeria today, it is unfortunate that the past leadership of the PDP have succeeded in painting PDP a coalition of corrupt leaders, narrative of which has been successfully changed at the state level as far as Kwara is concerned. Instead of Prince Uche Secondus-led administration of the party to bring back political morality and social sanity to the PDP to nock out her reputational challenges, the Chairman is unfortunately wooing virtually all political figures in Nigeria with the highest corruption perception index, one of which is Senator Bukola Saraki whose only business enterprise is Kwara state and almost running bankrupt!

Our minds thus become agitated on the reason why the leadership of our own party allows itself to be used as instrument of destabilization of their own party in Kwara state.  If the Secondus-led PDP leadership are endeared to Saraki because of the looted funds of Senator Bukola Saraki, that shouldn’t take away their senses of responsibilities and morality to the members of the party. They should not furiously disregard or try to discard their loyal members, who stood by the PDP through thick and thin periods, for a man who is inconsequential and personifies selfishness and betrayal.

The PDP is by the nature of of it’s name and ideological inclination a party that believes strongly and abides by democratic tenets and the rule of law. It is our convictions that the PDP constitution clearly states the procedures for admitting new members into the party, it is a bottom up approach. Why is the National Working Committee of PDP acting against it’s own constitution and principles just to please an inconsistent man and his cohorts? Is this not an indication that the party is positionimg itself as a lawless and immoral one, with no iota of respect for it’s own members and constitution? If this is done to the whole structures of PDP in Kwara state that has given it’s all to the party, it is a pointer that if PDP under Prince Secondus will never be grateful to Nigerians if the party is trusted with their support and votes.

We will like to end this address with a yoruba adage that says: ‘if an elderly person doesn’t respect himself to ride a horse, it is not disrespectful of the horse to fall the elderly person’. It is on this note that we are registering out protest as faithful members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara state, that we will NOT tolerate any attempt to undermine the constitution and membership of the party in the state because of a new entrant. If anybody is interested in joining the PDP in Kwara state, let them apply to their various wards. We will resist with everything legal in our disposal, to prevent any attempt to hand over not even a ward structure to any new entrant into the party, they’re new entrants and should be treated as such. If they feel too big to go to their wards and register as new members in line with the party’s constitution, it will be a disappointment realizing the National CWC are the ones aiding and abetting their lawlessness. We are also adding that the PDP CWC should be very careful of the kinds of political figures they’re wooing into the party, the likes of Senate President Bukola Saraki is an infectious politician whose virus will only have negative implications for the party in Kwara state and Nigeria as a whole.

Conclusively, we demand a sincere apology from  Prince Secondus-led National CWC for flagrant show of disrespect and disregard to the party faithful and leadership in Kwara state and equally demand that he retrace his steps and stop working against the interest of Kwarans, by having prejudicial political romance with Senator Bukola Saraki, a blacklisted politician and his cohorts such as Kawu Baraje and other confused politicians and serial defectors whom have never found dumping a party for developmental issues but selfish interests.

Our party is ours, we welcome genuine and loyal new entrants but we will never surrender our party to anybody, under any condition whatsoever.

God bless Kwara state and Nigeria.

Gos bless PDP

APC Chieftain, Joe Igbokwe Apologises For Accusing Supreme Court Of Taking Bribe

A leader of the ruling All Progressive Congress s apologised after saying that the Supreme Court was APC-Chieftain-Joe-Igbokwe“compromised” in the 2015 Rivers state governorship election case.

Mr Igbokwe, who is the Lagos APC publicity secretary and chairman of the Lagos State Wharf Landing Fee Collecting Authority, made a post on Facebook, Monday, suggesting that the Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike, had bribed the justices of the apex court to secure legal victory against the APC over the 2015 Rivers state governorship election.

“Wike will not have the audacity and temerity to kill again in Rivers State and run to Supreme Court to buy justice. It will never happen again where Buhari is the President,” he said on the social media site.

The Rivers State government, in its response to the allegation, gave Mr Igbokwe seven days to name the Supreme Court justices that Governor Wike allegedly bribed or be ready to face the consequences.

Four days after, the APC chieftain retracted his statement and also apologised for it.

“Please let it be known and it is hereby made known that I have withdrawn the post I did few days ago on Facebook suggesting that The Apex Court compromised on matters concerning 2015 Rivers State Governorship elections.

“It was not a calculated attempt to cast aspersions, demean and disparage the entire Bar and the Bench which I hold to the highest esteem. I am too small and too insignificant to do this.

“It was a mistake and I take responsibility for my action. It was a personal opinion. This is to tender an unconditional and unreserved apology to all those felt offended by my post and a promise to avoid such drivel in future. To err is human!” Mr Igbokwe posted on Facebook, Friday morning.

When our reporter contacted him, Mr Igbokwe said he did not want to speak much on the issue. “To err is human,” he said.

The Rivers state government has, however, rejected Mr Igbokwe’s apology.

“He accused Governor Wike of committing a crime of murder and after doing that, he said, he would run to Supreme Court, so let him tender a proper apology. Once he tenders a proper apology, the Rivers state government will know what to do,” the Commissioner for Information in Rivers state, Emma Okah, told our reporter

The 2015 Rivers governorship election was one of the most fiercely contested in Nigeria that year.

Apart from the election being tainted by violence and ballot-stealing, the election tribunal and the appeal court had ruled against Mr Wike’s election.

His challenger was Dakuku Peterside, the candidate of the APC.

Mr Wike later secured victory at the Supreme Court which ruled in January 2016 that he was the validly elected governor of the state.

They labelled Sen Saraki an armed robber – Sen. Amori

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Sen. Ighoyota Amori, has described the recent victory of the Nigerian Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki at the Code of Conduct Tribunal as a welcome development.

The PDP chieftain also said Saraki has every reason to celebrate because he was meted with demeaning trials and accusation which he finally came out clean.

Recall that the nation’s Supreme Court had discharged and acquitted Saraki of allegations of false assets declaration.

Senator Amori who condemned the travails the Senate President was subjected to while speaking with newsmen in Abuja also said that Saraki was even falsely termed a criminal.

According to him,  “From the day Saraki emerged as the Senate President, they have subjected him to all sorts of undemocratic treatments, kicking him from one court to the other.

“In fact, they have even labelled him an armed robber, not only him but also his state governor.

“This is a man who was born with silver spoon, a man who was governor for eight years, to now become an armed robber in Offa, Kwara state. Don’t you think that is funny?

“Three years have been wasted pursing Saraki for nothing. Can you imagine that they went into his record of when he was governor 15 years ago?

“When a man gets such kind of judgment, he has reason to say everything he wants to. In fact, he has not said anything.’’

Twitter Appoints Okonjo-Iweala As Independent Director.

Okonjo-Iweala, Nigeria’s former Minister of Finance, has been appointed as a Director on the board of Twitter Inc.

She will be replacing Marjorie Scardino, the former Chief Executive of Pearson.

According to Omod Kordestani, the Executive Chairman of Twitter, Okonjo-Iweala was appointed alongside Robert Zeollick, the eleventh President of the world bank, as independent directorNgozi-Okonjo-Iweala-1704 (1)s on Twitter’s board.

Kordestani said: “Ngozi and Bob are distinguished leaders with unparallelled global perspective and policy expertise.

“We are confident they will be incredible assets to Twitter as we continue to focus on driving transparency and making Twitter a safer, healthier place for everyone who uses our service.”

Similarly, Chief Executive Director of Twitter,  Jack Dorsey, tweeted: “We’re adding Ngozi (@NOIweala) and Bob (@authorzoellick) to the Twitter board. Welcome! Sadly we’re also saying farewell to our friend Marjorie (@marjscar). She’s been an amazing advocate for journalists everywhere, and pushed us constantly to better inform people. Thank you M.”

Acknowledging the appointment, Okonjo-Iweala, a four-term minister of Finance in Nigeria, said she looks forward to working with the other directors.

“Twitter is a powerful platform that continues to be used as a strong connector for the global community, and I’m thrilled to be a part of the team,” she said.

“As we strive to build a better world for tomorrow, Twitter can amplify messages and drive critical conversations around today’s most important issues. I look forward to partnering with Twitter’s talented directors and leadership team as we work to leverage the power of Twitter for good.”

Okonjo-Iweala’s appointment by Twitter is a breath of fresh air from the barrage of accusations and counter-accusations buzzing around her for her activities as FInance Minister at a period the country enjoyed oil boom.

She recently released a memoir of events during her tenure, titled ‘Fighting Corruption is Dangerous: The Story Behind The Headlines’, followed by various media reviews of her performances as Finance Minister under three past presidents: Olusegun Obasanjo, Musa Yar’Adua and Goodluck Jonathan.

Jonathan has since congratulated his former minister on the new appointment, saying: “I am not surprised that Dr. Mrs. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala has been appointed into the board of Twitter.”

“If anyone merits such an appointment, it is definitely a woman who helped her nation manage its finances most prudently and was instrumental to pulling many millions out of poverty. Ngozi, I am proud of you. You served Nigeria most meritoriously and I am more than certain that you would do the same at Twitter. Congratulations. GEJ.”

Twitter has been criticized for having a white-dominated board. Okonjo-Iweala’s appointment means there are now two black women directors on the board.

The social media company is on the move to improve its diversity culture by increasing the percentage of female employees to 43% by 2019 from the 38% that it was at the end of 2017. It also wants to improve the percentage of black and Latino employees to 5% from the 3.4% that it was in 2017.

Divine Aspiration for Service; Chief Peter Aniekwe in Limelight-Mykel Ozzy

FB_IMG_1532081195437The current state of Anambra East and West Federal Constituents is very pitiable and can be best illustrated with the state of Israelites in Egypt before the coming of Moses,

Like the Biblical Moses, whose divine call by God saved the suffering Israelites from the bondage of the Egyptians, Chief Peter Aniekwe has been given a divine call to save the people of Anambra East and West Federal Constituency from the shackles of bad representation and underdevelopment.

Also read

Since 1999, the Anambra East and West Federal Constituency has witnessed numerous representatives at the Hallowed green chambers, series of representations which had little or nothing to account for owing to the fact that the people elected wrong leaders and at some cases imposed on them.
As a result, this has kept the constituency backward and underdeveloped owing as most towns in Anambra East and West lacks far more behind than other towns in terms of infrastructural developments, basic amenities, etc .

The constituents haven endured so much hardship of bad Representation and leadership made up their minds to go for the very best and capable candidate who will change the narrative, a difficult search which they have continued until now with less or no results, and then came the declaration of Chief Peter Aniekwe to contest, A timely aspiration which cheered and made the constituents of Anambra East and West happy, indeed it was a divine Aspiration.

Chief Peter Aniekwe (Macpee) has been fondly called the “Governor of Anambra East and West” this is for no other reason than his commitment in serving the people and making their needs available to them, Chief Aniekwe as an individual has impacted so much on the lives of his people, ranging from Provision of numerous infrastructures, empowerment, awarding of scholarships to hundreds of students, issuing of grants to farmers and market women, etc thus earning him the name “Governor Anambra East and West”.
It is no doubt that Macpee will reciprocate his initial ‘Governor’ service when elected to represent the constituency in the federal house of representatives 2019, because it is often said that “charity begins at home”.

The choice is now left for the constituents of Anambra East and West Federal to acknowledge and support the divine Aspiration which Chief Peter Aniekwe is embarking on, or go back to the old ways and continue suffering due to bad representation, which I believe that the former will be their choice and not the latter.
I therefore call on all Ndi Anambra East and West to Support Chief Peter Aniekwe to salvage the constituency because he has been tested and trusted and with him, The Egyptians (bad leadership) we see today, we shall see them no more in 2019.
