Appeal Court upholds Dr Richard Egenti PDP candidacy For DNA Federal Constituency

The Court of Appeal, Abuja Division has upheld the candidacy of Dr Richard Egenti as DNA Federal representation for PDP.

Read The Full Judgement!

Justice ige , Justices kutigi and Justice Ada justices of the court of Appeal Abuja division unanimously delivered a ruling on the motion for dismissal filed by counsel to Dr Richard Egenti, earlier today

In that motion counsel to Dr Egenti argued that the notice of appeal filed by the national legal adviser to PDP Barr emoiden should be dismissed for been incompetent. He argued that the judgement of the lower court transmitted by ayika and PDP were fake and unsigned.

Therefore court querried them on why they should transmit a fake judgement of the lower court? And of Which the counsel of Ayika argued that it was the real judgement of the lower court.

However counsel to Dr Egenti filed a 27 paragraph counter affidavit with the real judgement of the lower court which was different from the fake judgement transmitted by ayika and pdp

Dr Egenti,s counsel relied on the latest supreme Court authority in the matter of fCdA staff multipurpose cooperative society vs samchi & others citation 2018:
LPELR -44380. CA

It says and I quote’

“The position of the law is trite and tested that an unsigned and undated judgement is null and void and of no effect whatsoever, it’s simple.9The court has no more interest if the parties chose to rely on an invalid document”

Also counsel to Dr Egenti cited akpan vs fbn plc 2018 )10 NWLR pt 1628.581 .CA

It stated that “the proper order where a record of appeal are incomplete, once established is for the court to strike out the appeal for been incompetent”.

The court agreed with counsel to Dr Rich Egenti and dismissed the PDP & ayika appeal for been incompetent.

The substantive suit was not debated for their appeal was dismissed for been incompetent as their entire appeal was predicated on a fake and unsigned judgement of the lower court transmitted to the court of appeal.

PDP & ayika cannot file a fresh notice of appeal because time has elapsed to file a fresh appeal going by the new amended Nigeria Constitution which allows appeal to be filed not more than 14days from the date the judgement of the lower court was issued.

The judgement of the lower court was issued Oct 31st 2018.

Hence he has up till 14th November 2018 to appeal against the judgement of the high Court.

Confirming the story, Dr Richard Egenti said it was a substantiation of his position all along that the good people of DNA Federal Constituency people believe he has Ability to represent the at Green Chamber.

He also said that the judgement was concise , perfect and we’ll thought out, It is the work of the world aclaimed legal minds.

He also called on Hon Valentine Ayika to take the decision of the Court of Appeal in good faith and join hands with him to clench the seat come 2019 general elections for the betterment of DNA Federal Constituency.

Let’s Get DNA Federal Constituency, Nigeria working Again.

Thugs Disrupted TraderMoni In Ilorin.

Suspected Hoodlums yesterday invaded the Mandate Market in Ilorin, Kwara State, to disrupt the disbursement of money to beneficiaries of the TraderMoni.

They scared away petty traders and agents of the scheme.

As early as 9am, the suspected hoodlums stormed the Mandate Market, insisting that the TraderMoni scheme cannot be implemented in the market built on a land donated to the state government by the Senate President Bukola Saraki’s father, the late Olusola Saraki.

It was not clear whether they were sent by anyone or whether they were mere party zealots, working on their own.

According to witnesses, including Bank of Industry (BOI) officials who were at the market to supervise the enumeration and disbursement of the N10, 000 collateral free loans, the arrival of the mob at Mandate Market caused some uproar.

The suspected thugs also intimidated the petty traders who had lined up to participate in the programme. Many of the traders were palpably annoyed and refused to leave the market. Calm was restored with the intervention of the police.

At the Ipata Market, where enumeration and disbursement of the TraderMoni loans were also going on, market leaders reportedly rebuffed pressure from some officials of the state, urging them to shun the enumerators. The programme went on without incident.

Officials of the Bank of Industry (BoI) told reporters that enumeration had been going on in the two markets in Kwara State in the last few days, without incident until yesterday.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is expected in the markets today.

TraderMoni, which is part of the Federal Government’s Social Investment Programme (N-SIP) under GEEP, is designed to assist petty traders across the country expand their trade through the provision of collateral and interest-free loans from N10, 000.

The loans are repayable over a period of six months at which point the traders on repayment will receive a fresh N15, 000 loan, which rises to N20, 000 when repaid.

The microcredit scheme, which has since been formally launched nationwide and the FCT, is expected to reach two million petty traders by the end of the year.

Igbo In North Banned From Travelling Over 2019 Polls

People of Igbo extraction in the 19 northern states have been banned from travelling to their states of origin to vote in next year’s general elections. Any person who flouts the directive would be fined an undisclosed amount of money. The decision was reached following an extraordinary meeting of the Igbo Delegates Assembly (IDA) in Barnawa, Kaduna State. IDA, an administrative umbrella organisation of Igbo resident in the northern states and Abuja, is responsible for members’ welfare. In attendance were executives, all Eze Igbos and chapter presidents in the 19 states.

“We want our people to stay in their respective states and cast their votes. The era of running home during elections cannot be tolerated again. There is no need for us to go home at every election because if you do that you will automatically disenfranchise yourself.

“We have done a lot of sensitisation. We have also educated our people on this and we all agreed. That is why we decided to place an embargo. And if you travel, IDA will fine such person(s),” the organisation said in a statement jointly signed by President General Chief Chikezie Nwogu and Secretary General Austin Ofokansi Ifedinezi. The Assembly also urged members to remain law-abiding in their states of residence.

A non-governmental organisation, the African Electoral Integrity Initiative (AE2i) meanwhile has unveiled ways to guarantee integrity in the elections. This was at the National Conference on Electoral Integrity it organised in Abuja yesterday with the theme: ‘Sustaining the Integrity of the 2019 General Elections.’

Prof. Yusuf Zoaka, Dean Faculty of Social Science, University of Abuja, in his presentation titled, ‘Principles of Electoral Integrity’, said a good election is hinged on fairness and a level playing ground for all.

Zoaka, who was represented by Dr Agaba Halidu, a lecturer at the university, also listed ethical conduct, professionalism and accuracy as criteria for successful polls. He maintained that for Nigeria to have an election with integrity, factors such as enforcement, transparency and respect for the rule of law must be upheld. He advised politicians to shun hate speeches that could breed violent campaigns, and INEC to remain impartial to avoid voter apathy and rejection of results.

Mr. Mohammed Baba, Commissioner in charge of Education at the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), said vote buying has become a threat to democracy, hence all efforts must be made to curb it. He disclosed that ICPC would embark on a nationwide sensitisation programme this month to change people’s attitude towards the practice.

Dr Daniel Omofoman, Convener and Regional Director (West Africa) of AE2i, said: “The conference is aimed at sensitising stakeholders to the need to sustain the integrity of the 2019 elections and restoring voter confidence in the integrity of officials, voting procedure and materials used in the election. We believe more is coming on solutions that will resolve these issues,”

He added that other issues threatening the integrity of the elections include underage voting, fake news and partisan law enforcement. But President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday in Abuja gave the assurance that the result of the 2019 general elections would reflect the will of the people.

He made the promise while receiving a letter of credence from the ambassador of Finland to Nigeria, Dr Jyrki Juhani Pulkkinen. He said Nigerians reserve the right to elect their leaders and that all efforts would be made to safeguard the integrity of the process. “I respect the people’s feelings,” he said, adding: “I assure all that we will have a free and fair election next year.”

Buhari congratulated Finland on its 101 Independence Day anniversary, marked yesterday. He commended the country’s growing relations with Nigeria, especially in the areas of Information Communication Technology (ICT), trade and education.

In his remarks, Pulkkinen noted that areas of mutual benefit could be extended to electricity, smart technology and crises management initiatives, pointing out he would work hard to improve trade figures and exchanges. “We will like to contribute to Africa rising. We know that Nigeria is the biggest country on the continent, so we are very interested in its growth,” he said.

He promised that at the United Nations, Finland would continue to support the restructuring of multilateral institutions, giving greater roles to African countries like Nigeria.

The president, who also received a letter of credence from the ambassador of France, Mr. Jerome Pasquier, described the visit to Nigeria by French President Emmanuel Macron as impressive and a booster to bilateral relations. Admitting that “France is investing so much in Nigeria and we are grateful,” he nevertheless called for more support in the fight against terrorism as fighters increasingly cross the borders to support insurgents.

Pasquier responded saying Macron would continue to support Nigeria, especially in the ongoing war against terrorism, with specific interest in the gathering and sharing of intelligence. He also commended Nigeria’s role in resolving the crises in Togo and Guinea Bissau.

Buhari equally received a letter of credence from the ambassador of the Czech Republic, Mr. Marek Skolil, to whom he gave an assurance of improved economic relations in solid minerals exploration.

Skolil, on his part, said his country would continue to support Nigeria’s military in the fight against terrorism in the northeast. “Nigeria is a very important country for us. We look forward to stronger ties, particularly with the armed forces,” he said.

Catholic Bishops Banned Priests From‘Active Politics’

Ahead of the 2019 general elections, the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) has banned Catholic priests and faithful of consecrated life from engaging in partisan politics including becoming a member of any political party.

The Secretary General, Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria (CSN), Rev. Fr. Ralph Madu, gave this order on Thursday in Abuja on behalf of the Catholic Bishops.ADVERTISEMENT

They frowned at the public altercation between Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka and a former Anambra State Governor and the vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Peter Obi.

The altercation occurred recently at Fr. Mbaka’s adoration ground in Enugu, on the issue of patronage in respect of the forthcoming 2019 general elections.ADVERTISEMENT

According to the Rev. Fr. Madu, the Bishops condemned the shameful scenario on an adoration ground, as contained in video recording that has gone viral on social media, saying the incident does not have the support of the Bishops Conference of Nigeria.

“As has always been our stand, the Catholic church in Nigeria, as clearly stated in their August 7, 2018 directives, remains apolitical and does not support or subscribe to any political party.

“Our concern is for a peaceful election process seen to be free, fair, credible and just, and a democratic governance that guarantees peace, justice, equity, among others.

“On behalf of the conference, we wish to reiterate their obligation as teachers of faith and morals, to educate the faithful on their role in the political life of the country, mindful of the present charged political atmosphere of Nigeria.

“With the ongoing campaigns of political parties gathering momentum, we deemed it necessary to again remind all priests and religious to keep to the position of the church on the issue of non-partisan politics,” Madu said.

While saying that they are sure that the Enugu diocese, where Rev. Mbaka is incardinated, is taking appropriate measures on the incident, they wish to categorically reiterate that no Catholic priest or people of consecrated life should be actively involved in partisan politics in obedience on the Canon Law of the Catholic.

He said, “Also, liturgical ceremonies must never be used as an occasion for political campaigns. The country is presently going through difficult times and we therefore call on all the faithful, to continue to pray for spiritual intervention in the life of our country, by the regular saying of the conference, on daily basis.

“We also enjoined the lay faithful to play their roles in the forthcoming elections premised on good conscience, play their roles at the election without prejudice or inducement and ensure that their votes count and the right people voted into power for the common good.”

POLITICIANS SHOULD LEARN CHARITY DEVOID OF SELFISH INTERESTS- Aisha Edward

………………….. “Gov. Dave Umahi’s Adoration Ministry Donation on my mind”

When Gov Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State gave the Proprietor and Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, one thousand bags of rice and one thousand tubers of yam in its annual harvest Thanksgiving and Bazaar ceremony, the whole congregation erupted in wild jubilation.

Firstly, we will commend Gov. Dave Umahi, being a Pentecostal, to have extended such a huge generosity on the Catholic Church. Such inter religious magnanimity should be encouraged by all. But the apparent political motives and colourations attached to such gifts must be condemned.

We are nearing an election year, and politicians in their usual manner of politicking and trying to outwit one other to cart home the people’s votes, are now more pronounced in their charitable activities.

Or how could one explain such a large donation of foodstuffs from the Executive Head of one of the most impoverished and educationally backward States in Nigeria?

‘‘Gov Dave Umahi must not have been on a spending spree already, from the N1 billion re-election campaign funds made available to him by Prince Eng. Arthur Eze recently.’’

Ebonyi People will try hard and overlook the high amount of donated foodstuffs by their Governor to Fr.Ejike Mbaka, but would not allow the building of any project in Enugu State with our Commonwealth.

If only Gov. Dave Umahi would attract Fr. Mbaka to Ebonyi State and help him with the needed funds to establish an Adoration Center which many especially the Catholics would wish, where Ebonyi indigenes can as well worship without having to travel long distances into Enugu State, and also become direct beneficiaries to the Employment Opportunities, Schooling programmes and Health Services that will be accrual if such projects are located within the State. The people of Ebonyi State would love him more for this, and he will no doubt succeed as Governor.

We are not against any charitable efforts of his Excellency on any particular organization, but we will be concerned in what capacity, As a State Governor or as a Private Citizen.

There are nagging issues begging for attention, as it concerns the economic welfare of the State. Taking money meant for the administration and economic empowerment of the State to develop activities in another State is unjustified in whatever guise.

A news media quoted Fr. Mbaka as saying ‘‘ Umahi donated 1,000 bags of rice and 1,000 tubers of yam to us, but it meant nothing to me until he handed N10 million cheque to me and promised to build a project for the ministry.

Since Adoration Ministry Enugu, is now a ground for political endorsements, It will go down well with everyone if the donations made therein are from personal wealth and not with public funds.

Gov Dave Umahi is yet to build a hut for the impoverished Sickle Cell victims in the State nor has it been in family succour agenda after several appeal to the office of her excellency through her principal secretary Mr Obasi, where they can be properly managed by professionals and experts in the field. Sometimes one wonders what family succor could be all about without dealing with the dangers and threats of the dreaded genotype incompatibility in Ebonyi State that requires Genetic Education?

As the Chief Executive, Gov. Umahi is expected to bring all hands on deck for an effective onslaught against Sickle Cell Disorder in the State.

Ebonyi people must keep watchful eyes on all their public office holders and ensure that they don’t go jamboree with our collective wealth this election season.

While we cannot compromise our support for Gov. Dave Umahi he should also be very sensitive to our collective feelings and yearning for a true and sincere governance for the masses devoid of classical and seasonal deceit.

We Can’t Produce Diezani In 72hrs” – EFCC Chair, Magu Reacts To Court Order

EFCC Chair, Ibrahim Magu, has reacted to the High Court order which directed the anti-graft agency to arrest the immediate-past Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke.

The Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Ibrahim Magu, has said that the commission needs less than 72 hours given by the court, in producing a former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, to face her corruption charges, stating that the only problem the commission has is that she is being held “in another man’s country”.

Mr Magu made this known on December 5, 2018, during an interactive session with journalists and social media influencers, at the commission’s headquarters in Jabi, Abuja.

Expressing optimism with complying with the court order, Mr Magu said: “We will comply with the court order. In fact, it is in our character to do so. If we won’t comply with the court order, that means we have reasons to appeal against the court decision.
“We need less than 72hours to produce Diezani. But she is being prosecuted by other law enforcement agencies outside this country. This is our predicament.”

Talking about the challenge in getting her, he said, “Another law enforcement agency is in the matter. You know she is in the United Kingdom. And we are making preparations to get her.
“We have already gone to the court, in fact that was our request for extradition that compelled the court to issue a warrant of arrest against her. I need just less than an hour. If she is here, I will get her immediately and take her before the court. Our problem is that she is another man’s country.”

Responding on the issue of not finding anything against the former minister, Mr Magu said, “Nobody can say she has not committed anything. All the neighbouring countries in Europe and America and all the law enforcement agencies in the world have knowledge of Diezani’s money laundering activities.”

Speaking on looted funds still hanging outside the country, Mr Magu wondered why it was difficult for the countries concerned to repatriate the looted funds.

He said:-

“More than 80 per cent of the loot recovery outside this country is still hanging. Ask them why is it hanging? Why is it so difficult to repatriate this money, when you have established that this only came from Nigeria and you know that this person does not own this money? There is no justification. It’s not small money. We have over $300million hanging in the United Kingdom”.

Responding on the Halliburton bribery controversy, the anti-graft czar, said “We are only looking at the way the money was expended, the manner in which it was shared, and used.
“There was money that was received from Halliburton. There was settlement. So now, our problem is how that money given to Nigeria was shared. We are very much on it. We will see to the end of it”.

He thereafter urged the general public to collaborate with the commission in the corruption fight, stating that the whistle-blower policy was still very much on.

“This whistle blowing policy is working. This boy that blew the Ikoyi whistle has become a millionaire and he is not calling me again,” he added.

SHOCKING! Police Reveals How Kidnapper Evans Shot Young Shall Grow Motors Chairman

The police on Wednesday gave an account of how the Chairman of Young Shall Grow Motors, Chief Vincent Obianuju, was allegedly shot in a gun battle by suspected kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike (alias Evans).

Onwuamadike is standing trial alongside Joseph Emeka, 29, Chiemeka Arinze, 39, and Udeme Upong, 43, on a seven-count charge of murder, attempted murder, conspiracy to commit kidnapping, attempt to kidnap, and sale and transfer of firearms.

The prosecutor, Mr Haroun Adebayo, called the first witness, Insp. Idowu Haruna, attached to the Inspector-General of Police Intelligence Response Team, which arrested the accused and conducted investigations, to narrate the outcome of the investigations.

Haruna testified that the chairman of Young Shall Grow Motors was attacked by the accused on Third Avenue, Festac Town, Lagos in 2013.

“They engaged the chief in a gun battle, and he was shot on his left arm,” NAN quoted him as saying.

“Also, one of his escorts, Cpl. Ngozi Chijioke and his driver, Mr Peter Nweke, were shot dead; three among the kidnappers were shot down by the police while others escaped.”

Haruna told the court that two riffles were recovered by the police while the case was reported at the FESTAC Police Division.

“Earlier, the third defendant, Arinze, surveyed and monitored the movement of the chairman,” the witness testified.

He said that anytime the chairman was going out to play games in the evening, he never went with escorts.

“But on the Aug. 27, 2017, the defendants never knew that the victim was with escort; that was how they met their waterloo.”

Haruna told the court that, in its investigations, the team discovered that Arinze, who was into community service in his hometown, sold the riffles to Onwuamadike, which he used in carrying out the crime.

“It was discovered that Evans was the Leader of the gang and he ordered the kidnap of the victim.

“It was Evans that organised the firearms and ammunition used for the operation.”

He said that Onwuamadike made a confessional statement that he had been into the crime for a long time.

“He has no other job, this is his means of livelihood,” he added.

Haruna also said that the team discovered that the fourth accused, Upong, sold AK47 riffle to Onwuamadike without knowing he would to use it to kidnap the victim

In his capacity as a Spider-Man and not an ASUU member, he was able to attend to the students who wanted to have a final discussion with him ahead of their project defence.

The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Lagos State Jimi Agbaje, has reacted to the defection of the Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Wasiu Oluwo, to the PDP.

“The commissioner has displayed uncommon courage by the decision. He is a good example for others to follow as this empire begins to fall to pieces

“I am gladdened by the news of my brother’s defection to the PDP. Indeed, it is a welcome development which must be lauded and applauded by all lovers of freedom and democracy. By this singular gesture, Oluwo has counted himself worthy as a man of integrity.

“I look forward to teaming up with him to liberate our dear state from the shackles of bad governance and corruption.

“I am using this opportunity to all stakeholders in the state, particularly my brothers and sisters in the APC to toe the path of honour, and join us to rescue our state from the vice grips of a vested cabal that has arrested its development in the last 20 years,” he said.

2019 Presidency: PDP Leaders Serve Buhari Quit Notice At Ilorin Rally

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) yesterday served President Muhammdu Buhari quit notice at its presidential campaign rally in Ilorin, Kwara State.

Director General of the Atiku/Obi Campaign Organisation and President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki said the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government has failed in all facets of governance.

He asked Nigerians to vote out Buhari and the APC in next year’s general elections, adding that the APC had failed to deliver on all its 2015 campaign promises.

According to Saraki: “APC promised Nigeria a lot of things. They promised us security, at a time we had security problem only in the North East, but now it has extended to North Central, and even the North West. APC has failed because security has worsened.

Atiku lamented that the nation has gone worse under the APC, hence the need to provide an alternative administration that can make things work in the nation again.

“Today in terms of economy, Nigeria is the poorest in the world. These are facts from international organisations. The security situation has become terribly bad,” he said.

Atiku alleged plans by the APC to buy permanent voters cards from people as a way of perpetrating electoral fraud, but urged Nigerians to guide against the plan so as not to mortgage their future and that of their children.

PDP National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, while appreciating the large turnout of the people for the rally noted that Nigerians have been suffering since APC took over power in 2015.

Gov El-rufai:I Want To Run Away

Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai says it is not easy to preside over the affairs of many people and that sometimes he feels like running away. Governor El-Rufai who is seeking a second term in office, said this when he spoke at an election summit organised by the Kaduna State Peace Commission. He said he would accept defeat if he loses the 2019 governorship election, adding that he would be in a hurry to pack out of the government house.

“Let me first speak as the governorship candidate of the APC. Our party is committed to peace and peaceful elections. The political parties that merged into the APC were victims of rigged elections and the consequential violence that came with it.

It is the rigging of elections that leads to violence. It was the massive rigging of the elections in 2011 that led yo the wide spread violence at that time and Kaduna state alone, lost over 800 lives.

“As the candidate of the APC, I am saying here and now that I am in a hurry to park out of the government house if the people do not vote for me. I will be the first to concede and I want to tell all that want to be governor that it is not an easy job… I want to run away.

“It is just that when I look at those that want to be governor and what they have done to the state in the past, I have a duty to protect the state, the ordinary people of the state from the evils of past.”

Governor El-Rufai vowed to deal with anyone who promotes hate speech and religious sentiments on social media in the state. “This is the biggest problem we are facing as a sitting government and I want to appeal to all of us politicians to reflect, think and desist from this because when you destroy lives by giving young people weapons and drugs for election purposes, what do you do with them after you win. They become a monster that is difficult to control. We have no thugs in the APC.

All those that campaign with us, we try to empower them to be employed so that they will be off the street. These are very serious issues for us so I want to appeal to my colleagues to temper our language, because politics is not war.

“We are doing that vigorously; we do not care what people say. Anyone that comes to Kaduna and say something or even say it outside Kaduna and his house is not in Kaduna state, no matter who he is, whether he calls himself bishop or Imam or Sheikh, whether he calls himself chief or Hakimi, we will bring him to justice.

We will arrest and bring him to Kaduna and prosecute him and we are on the trail of many of them that have insignificantly done this. Some in Abuja, some in Lagos, we will bring them to Kaduna and try them for incitement, for malicious falsehood, for hate speech.

We are determined to do that and we will not politicise it because the protection of lives and property should never be politicise” he said.

Our Decision To Boycott 2019 General Elections Irrevocable – IPOB

The leadership of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra ( IPOB) has re- iterated its decision to boycott the forthcoming 2019 general elections is irrevocable, saying that no amount of cajoling and criticisms of the decision as counter-productive would make it change the decision. Uche Mefor Deputy Leader of IPOB

In a statement issued yesterday by the deputy Leader of the group, Mr Uche Mefor, apparently in reply to a Niger Delta freedom fighter, Mr Askari Dokubo, who criticized the IPOB decision to boycott the forthcoming Nigeria’s 2019 general polls, IPOB, stated that injustice can never be erased in Nigeria.

“You cry everyday that the constitution is a fraud, the election rigged,  INEC  used as electoral tool to manipulate results and yet you senselessly or naively continue and want people to vote and yet you are a freedom fighter?

“Look, IPOB cannot mutate and certainly don’t change course midflight , IPOB remains ideologically consistent.

“Do your own and we do our own and in the end we take stock. IPOB refuses to betray the trust of her followers or sell them by joining Nigerian politics”, the IPOB leader stated.

The IPOB leadership even warned that the group might be forced to changing its tactics if its current modus operandi is seen not to be yielding the desired result, saying “Our demands must be met or we apply another sophisticated strategy if the anomaly subsists”.

He added, “In the final analysis , it is my considered opinion that those who are suggesting that we change course are at best insincere.

“They know right from the beginning that the end result in joining Nigerian politics is total failure with respect to BIAFRA .

“Bewarned, be focused, be vigilant for wolves are on the rampade. Rally round our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and together, we shall eventually prevail”, he stated

2019:PDP Vowed To Dislodge APC In the South West.

…Holds SW Presidential Zonal Rally in Ibadan on Thursday

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) says its South West Presidential Zonal rally scheduled for Ibadan, Oyo state capital, on Thursday, December 6, will accentuate its deepened consultation with leaders of the zone in the consensus to dislodge the failed All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2019 general elections.

The PDP Presidential campaign Organization (PPCO) says the South West is too sophisticated and educationally exposed to allow certificate forgers, incompetent leaders and fraudulent elements to brazenly continue to sit over their affairs, especially with arrogant show of disdain and official intimidation.

The South West Presidential Zonal rally is therefore another major step in galvanizing the people of the zone in their long-standing aspiration to rally with a new President to liberate their political and economic fortunes from the stranglehold of APC’s oppressive and exploitative oligarchy.

The PPCO notes that the South West zone has already embraced its Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, because of his proven capacity, transparency and all-inclusive stance, which the region require to move forward and realize its full potentials that have been retarded by the Muhammadu Buhari incompetent, oppressive, corrupt and divisive administration.

The South West holds a leading position in many critical sectors and will no longer allow a modern day expansionist to continue to sequester and dominate the economy of the people, while making maximum enrichment for himself and a few acolytes at the detriment of majority of the citizenry.

This APC expansionist and his cronies have looted the resources of the South West and made life miserable for the people through forceful territorial occupation, direct stealing of public funds, annexing of public property and income generating institutions; multiple taxation, which proceeds are directed to private purses, as well as harsh financial regulations, which have crippled many businesses, particularly in the Southwest.

The South West people are very resourceful, industrious and creative group and can therefore not thrive under a lack lustre, visionless, inept and corrupt Buhari administration.

Curiously, the administration is now trying to turn the people into beggars by mischievously diverting trillions of naira from the social benefit funds appropriated by the National Assembly while handing out a miserable N10,000 to traders, instead of giving them their due benefits from the scheme.

The people of the South-west has therefore collectively agreed that their liberation time could not have come at a better time than this when the entire nation is rallying behind our candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in the all-inclusive mission to rescue our nation from the shackles of President Buhari’s misrule and return her to good governance, national cohesion and economic prosperity.
